This singer-songwriter style song is about the hole in society that was left by the destruction of the textile industry in the United States. It is a somber piece about the remains of a once pivotal institution of American society. The implosion left a great deal of scars on cities and towns in the south many of which never healed. Some Communities have been able to recover, but others aren't so lucky.

The people the Textiles the mills
But the world can be a shotty place
